WHAT MAKES THIS BIKE SPECIAL:
Well Maintained. Strong, Reliable Engine and Transmission
It presently has 21,122 miles. A full service was performed at 16,612 miles including adjustment of the primary chain, checking the valves, installing new rear brake pads, installing new spark plugs, and lubricating the steering head and cables. With electronic fuel injection, it starts reliably, idles smoothly, pulls strongly, and tolerates high altitudes. As compared to newer models with more complex engines and electronics, this year model is noted for reliability. Indeed, this bike has had zero issues with the engine or transmission or anything else for that matter. Always garaged and never dumped, all the paint and chrome finishes are nearly showroom new. The tires have lots of tread remaining.
HD Screamin' Eagle Stage One Performance Enhancement
Increased airflow air intake and filter assembly, opened flow Screamin' Eagle exhaust mufflers, performance enhancing EFI chip. This bike has no problem keeping up with the larger block bikes.
A "Collector's" Bike
All the original HD stock parts are included. Keep it tricked-out and chromed-up or return it to it's factory stock configuration. 2002 was the true 100th year of HD production and the Heritage Softail Classic is the quintessential Harley model. All the HD factory service, electrical and diagnostic, and parts manuals are included (see below). The color is the Real Red and Diamond Ice that Harley typically used to promote this model.
HD Security System Option
Press and hold the remote (two provided) to arm. Press it twice to disarm. Or, you can enter a code using the turn signal buttons to arm/disarm. If the bike is jostled at all, a piercing siren sounds and the lights flash. Use the physical key to lock the steering column and ignition switch. Set your helmet over the brake pedal (so it won't catch rain) and lock it with the helmet lock attached to the frame.
HD Cast Aluminum Wheels
Enjoy easy cleaning and no wire spokes to monitor for tightness or adjust. Also because there are no tubes in the tires, you have a smooth ride and easy repairs. The original stock spoked wheels are included if you prefer the original classic look.
Extensive HD Chrome Upgrades
Lots of expensive HD chrome upgrade parts with bar-n-shield and Live-to-Ride HD logos, including gold and chrome air cleaner and derby covers, pedals, luggage rack, license plate mount and much more. Please look closely at all the photos. All the original stock parts are included.
HD Extra-Tall Windshield
This HD windshield is two inches taller than the stock windshield. It makes a huge difference in keeping the bugs off your helmet and less fatigue from wind buffet. The original stock windshield is included. Both are in excellent condition with no deep scratches or discoloration. The windshield mount is a quick-release type to ride without it.

Extra comfort for the rider and passenger. Ride long distances sitting upright, comfortable against the backrest with your legs fully extended. Your water bottle is right in front of you.
